This photo shows a view of the roof line trim installed above the siding. Hardie vented soffit panels provide an intake for ventilation required for GAF's Lifetime Warranty. The Eggshell RainPro gutter system was installed to improve drainage. Microguard leaf shedding system was installed above the gutter to prevent leaves from clogging the system. The Bronze replacement windows by Marvin have significantly improved the energy efficiency of this home
This house was built in 1977. The original wood siding was starting to warp. The owner knew it was time to either paint or replace the siding. After pricing both options, they decided it was time for a change. The owner researched many different exterior products. Hardie siding was the best option to restore the orignal wood look. Hardie house wrap was installed to create a thermal barrier. Hardieplank cedarmill siding was installed. The color of this home is Monterey Taupe with Cobble Stone trim. Hardie products are an excellent way to recreate the look of wood without the maintenance. The existing roof was leaking, faded and damaged. GAF Timberline shingles were installed. The roofing color selected is Weathered Wood. The home originally had aluminum windows. The seals had failed in most of the glass units. The frame were leaking a significant amount of air. A Provia Signet Series front door was installed to complete the look. This customer now has a beautiful, low maintenance exterior. Review by Allison H.
"Mike and Danny are top notch. My husband had extensively researched this project (roofing, windows, Hardi Plank siding, doors, gutters, gutter guards, some structural changes. Mike stayed with us for over a year-long series of endless questions (and revisions, and questions, and revisions...) from us and was extremely patient with modifying the estimate and explaining all our options. Danny managed the work and was tireless in ensuring it was done correctly and to his high standards and no detail was left untouched. The crew, including Pablo, Mario, Q and Choi were patient, careful and professional."
