The windows on the sides & rear of the home feature a 4" picture frame trim detail. This adds a contrast to the siding color. Most siding colors appear lighter when exposed to direct sunlight. Generally this occurs on the south side of the house. A frieze board with crown molding was installed below the overhangs. Additional trim details are a great way to add curb appeal.

CCC just finished the installation of Hardie siding on our home and did a fantastic job, despite the difficult and changing weather conditions. The installation team was hard-working and courteous. There were virtually no punch list items. I would highly recommend them.

This Gaithersburg, MD home is located in the Kentlands neighborhood. The homeowner wanted a low maintenance siding product.
The original Masonite Lap Siding needed regular painting. The siding was experiencing minor rot in isolated locations. The homeowner was debating whether to paint their existing siding or have it replaced with HardiePlank. After exploring both options, they decided it was time for something new. The cost to paint over the years would cover their long term costs of installing a siding product that lasts. The Kentlands HOA requires all siding replacements to be done with Hardie siding. Custom Concepts Construction Inc was hired as the siding contractor to install new Hardie Lap Siding in Boothbay Blue on the exterior of the home. All roof line trim was replaced along with the window/door trim. Custom crown headers were installed for added appeal. The front porch rails were replaced with a PVC colonial rail system. A Synergy Ponderosa Pine tongue & groove ceiling was installed in the front porch as well. Synergy has multiple prefinished color options available. Hardie frieze boards and crown moldings were installed below the roof overhangs. Not only are these changes low maintenance, but also gives this home outstanding curb appeal. Custom Concepts Construction, Inc. is an Elite Preferred Siding Contractor for James Hardie Products.
