This household in Frederick, Maryland was suffering from many problems. Their asbestos siding was cracking almost to the point of falling off. The cracks were causing water to go behind the siding and because of the difficult maintenance this issue could not be solved. The client researched many siding products and siding contractors. After selecting our company as the siding contractor, the transformation began. All of the existing siding was carefully removed. James Hardie house wrap was installed around the perimeter of this Frederick home. We installed Hardiplank lap siding with a 7’ exposure to solve this dilemma. After installing Hardiplank in light mist, we used Arctic White trim to complete the new appearance of the home. We also installed corner trim as well as rake trim in the same color. The home no longer suffers from the same concerns and has an overall more ascetically pleasing look. Our company is an Elite Preferred Siding Contractor for James Hardie. Hiring an Elite Preferred Siding Contractor is the best way to ensure the success of your siding project.

The chimney detail is very important to avoid water damage, as well as creating a sleek clean look to the siding where the two meet. An Arctic White trim was placed along they chimney edges, windows, soffit, and fascia.

The Hardiplank Light Mist color gave this home a bright cool feeling. The Arctic White trim along the windows and edges provided  a great dynamic while enhancing this home's appeal. The sun room was painted Arctic White to create a contrast between the siding and the sun room.

By replacing the cracked siding with Hardieplank lap paneling we rid the home of the water problem. The Light Mist color, which is similar to a light grayish blue, made the home look more welcoming as did the Arctic white trim around the windows.
