Upon the residing of the home, a flare was created with framing. The flare was designed to have the gutters run directly through it. The flare reshaped the home and once the Cedar Shingles were installed, it created a lovely architecturally detailed look for the home.
The cedar shingles were also installed around one of the front doors. The door itself was painted to match the Iron Gray trim. The paint is manufactured by James Hardie, all colors are available to match the siding and trim color options.
The front portico is made up of cedar wood and the trim is James Hardie fiber cement material in Iron Gray. The dark colored trim against the light color cedar wood, creates a deep dimensional look when looking at the home. Well-designed detailing in light cedar wood in the ceiling of the portico, presents a sophisticated welcoming feeling at the front entry. Arched metal roof and hanging lantern add color and a richness to the design.
This home was completely transformed, the new framing changed the shape of the home, and it went from vinyl to real wood cedar shake & shingles. These shingles create a classic look and the dark trim complements the curb appeal. Two dormer windows were installed in the roof, also with cedar wood siding and topped with Iron Gray steel arched roof that features a rare blend of strength, style and simplicity. The dark colored trim against the light color cedar wood, creates a deep dimensional appeal when looking at the home.
